Andrea Sacker creates art in a variety of media: painting in oils, watercolors and gouache, making and printing with linoleum blocks, botanical drawing, sculpture and most recently dioramas.
She misses trying her hand at writing and illustrating children’s books. She has completed a number of children’s book dummies and hopes to get back to it ASAP!!
Earlier in her life, Andrea Sacker was an experimental filmmaker, a film programmer at The Collective for Living Cinema, a carousel painter, a textile designer and a web producer. She has always been a painter and has always loved to ‘make things’. Andrea lives in New York City with her husband, Bob, and her two kids, Aislinn and Eli.
